The school year is here, the school year is here! The Carver Public Schools is pleased to announce that the Makepeace Literacy Leadership Center is "Growing Strong" with 17 local member districts!
Our next Literacy Coaches & RTI Coordinators Group meeting is Friday, September 30th at the Makepeace Literacy Leadership Center in Carver, MA. We will be joined by Eleni Steadman of The HILL for Literacy, as well as representatives for the RAVE-O intervention program developed by Maryanne Wolf, Ed.D. of Tufts University! "RAVE-O is a one-of-a-kind, small-group reading intervention that targets serious reading challenges. It’s unique, cutting-edge approach balances science and motivation to accelerate learning, closes and prevents the achievement gap, and promotes fluency, comprehension, and deep reading.
